Description:

SEA CUSHION fenders are fabricated from closed-cell, resilient, energy absorbing foam. This foam is protected by a thick, filament-reinforced outer elastomer skin. An external net surrounds the fender for rigging, longitudinal strength and abrasion protection. This construction offers a number of important features and advantages.

The foam-filled construction provides an unsink-able fender that can be installed either floating at the water level, or fixed above the water.

Foam-filled fenders have a high energy absorption while at the same time having a low reaction force. Reaction forces at rated compressions are well below those hard rubber and pneumatic fenders of comparable energy absorption levels.
